Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.

Prerequisites

Android studio with up to date Android SDK A virtual Android device *MUST BE RUNNING API 26 OR EARLIER

Installing

A step by step series of examples that tell you how to get a development env running

  1. Initialize git repository and clone
  2. Open the gulo-gulo/souvenir folder in Android Studio
  3. Ensure all dependencies are downloaded (i.e. cmake, etc.)
  4. Click 'run' or press F10
  5. Click 'create new virtual device'
  6. Create a virtual device using a Nexus 5X
  7. Download and install Oreo (ensure that it is the version running API 26)
  8. The app will now run in your newly made Android Emulator
