Hi @tghartland. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a kubernetes member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.

Instructions for interacting with me using PR comments are available here. If you have questions or suggestions related to my behavior, please file an issue against the kubernetes/test-infra repository.

Surprising how bugs like this can stay unnoticed :-). I guess it's hard to test since this is mostly for human consumption, and people mostly don't look at replicaset?

Thanks!

The StatefulSetSpec says that Replicas defaults to 1 if unspecified. I assume this means that it is never nil.

// replicas is the desired number of replicas of the given Template.
// These are replicas in the sense that they are instantiations of the
// same Template, but individual replicas also have a consistent identity.
// If unspecified, defaults to 1.
// TODO: Consider a rename of this field.
// +optional
Replicas *int32 `json:"replicas,omitempty" protobuf:"varint,1,opt,name=replicas"`
