Chicken Chase

Final project for CMPM 121 - Game Technologies

Controls

Use "WASD" keys on keyboard to move around. Click to shoot.

Scene Description

We created a NPC Chase Scene of chicken chase. There is a fox that will chase after the player as the player is going around to collect little chicks. To protect the chicks, the player is equipped with a shooter to keep fox away!

Requirements What we did
Particle system (10 pts) Gun system where player can point and shoot particles at fox.
5 unique objects (20 pts) Check below for Assets Used.
Controllable character (5pts) The chicken is our controllable character.
Character-follow camera (5pts) Player views from a third-person perspective following the chicken.
NPC that chases player (20pts) Fox NPC that starts chasing after player when player comes within range.
Interaction with NPC 1 (10pts) When the player (big chicken) goes near the little chicks, the little chicks will start following the player.
Interaction with NPC 2 (10pts) When the fox is caught up to player (fox collides with player), game over scene appears.
Obstacles in the path of player A farm nature scene containing a variations of terrain, hills, farmland, river, bridge, house, rocks, trees.
