Currently KD does not work when using
generateNameinstead ofnameas generate name only works withkubectl createnotkubectl apply. This functionality is primarily used for jobs so that you can deploy the same yaml file without changing the Name every time.As the object name is generated on deploy I've caught the output and parsed it to get the newly generated object name so that we can watch it. Bit ugly but couldn't think of a nicer way to do it.
