why did you reference scanDirs? In the original thread you were saying that this is more related to the ability to assign aliases to layers, do you have a different perspective now on the topic? |

Describe the feature
As mentioned several times in nuxt/nuxt#13367, a critical adoption criterion of layers is the ability to access layer assets from the extending project.
This could be in the form of
~layer/path/to/asset/file~layerbeing the layer alias, or they could be directly injected in~. Anyway, they are essential to allow proper themes development innuxt.Additional information
