ML Kit for Firebase iOS quickstart demonstrates how to use the various features of ML Kit to add machine learning to your application.

Introduction

Getting Started

  • Add Firebase to your iOS Project.

  • Run the sample on your iOS device or simulator.

  • Choose Photo Library or Photo Camera to see a demo of the following:

    • Recognize text (on-device and in Cloud (sparse, dense, document text))
    • Detect faces (on-device)
    • Scan barcodes (on-device)
    • Label images (on-device, AutoML on-device, in Cloud)
    • Detect and track objects (on-device prominent/multiple, only tacking/with classsification)
    • Recognize landmarks (in Cloud)
  • Choose Video Camera to see a demo of the on-device features:

  • Label images (AutoML)

  • Recognize text

  • Detect faces

    • Detect and track objects (prominent/multiple, only tacking/with classification)
