Datepickers are closing when they're not supposed to

When opening a datepicker through clicking its empty input (not calendar button icon), anything that causes a blur on the input including clicking content in the datepicker itself will close it. This means that clicking the Today link, arrow buttons, or select input will close the datepicker, which is not the intended behavior.
