is there any posibility to run the software on ubuntu or armbian ?
the cost of second hand NUC with better hardware is so atartive, armbian version can be use with tv set box like H96 with 4Gb RAM and 65GB emmc with less than 35 USD

A key feature of the sbitx is that it uses all the interface capabilities of the Raspberry Pi such GPIO, SPI, etc. I do not think set top boxes normally expose such interface support without extensive modification and reverse engineering. The Raspberry Pi company has done extensive work to support their devices.
